5 students expelles from Kwara State Polytechnic

The Kwara state polytechnic has expelled five students for various offences which contravenes their matriculation oaths.

The assistant registrar, Academic Affairs, AbdulRahman Muhammad, made the disclosure in a statement in Ilorin on Monday, September 26.
He explained that the expulsion of the students  was a follow up to the approval of the report issued by the Students’ Disciplinary Committee and also in accordance with Section 14.2 of the Students Regulations.
The students affected as identified by Mr Muhammed include,
Murthado Olanrewaju , Elebiju Rotimi, Adam AbdulAzeez ,
Muhammed Habeeb, and Khalid Olamilekan.
The school authorities have also rusticated one Olutayo Oluwatobi Elizabeth and withheld the result of one Toluwaleke Gbenga Adeniya.
Mr Muhammad stated that all the affected students were to vacate the institution’s campus premises with immediate effect after handing over all properties belonging to the polytechnic which was in their possession to their respective heads of department.
