quarter final stage

with an extra time goal against Croatia in Lens as
it ended 1-0.

stage.
Quaresma also became the first player to score in

Netherlands in the 2008 edition of the European
Championships.

with caution all through the match and there were
no real threat in the final third.
Ivan Perisic could have finished off the game in
abnormal time but his header came off the post and
Domagoj Vida’s effort went wide which could have
sent the to penalties.
Despite their shaky start in Euro 2016, Portugal
have now qualified for their sixth consecutive
quarter-finals at the European Championships and
will face Poland in Marsielle.
